What’s more, you can share lists with your friends, family, and work colleagues. ![]() Unlike many other task management apps, Microsoft To Do is completely free all you need to get started is a Microsoft account. Tasks due for that day are added automatically, and you can include tasks from other lists to help you refocus on your daily priorities. Moreover, it allows you to break tasks into steps, making them easier to track and manage.įurthermore, the My Day section of the app resets itself every day. You can create task lists, set reminders, and assign tasks, with little effort. Instead, functions like To-Do lists can be used as a standalone app-if you want!-or as part of another app.Microsoft To Do has a clean and minimalistic interface, so finding your way around it is very easy. Microsoft doesn’t really believe that a function should always stand alone as a discrete app. Yes, it’s confusing-and that’s because Microsoft 365 tends to “blur” apps, adding bits and pieces of one to another. …but the Tasks integration within Teams is the latest example of To-Do integration. The Tasks in Teams integration begins today, Microsoft said, and will continue through September. Planner and To-Do now connect to the Tasks portion within Teams, either as a discrete app on the left rail or as a tab within individual Teams teams. If you use Planner, another Microsoft 365 app, To-Do is now integrated within it. A To-Do pane is now available within the web version of Outlook, and emails from colleagues asking you to do something can be dragged and dropped into it, automatically adding an item to the list.
